I've just been looking at your website and found those vehicles in Z-scale. About those planes I would like to make a wish if it is possible. They all have a registration code, but if I want to use them on a European (or German) layout they would have the wrong registration code. A small plane with an N-xxxx registration is relatively seldom to see over here. Could it be on option to get a decal sheet with different registration codes?

uupppss... I missed that detail, but I love it. Since those planes, and here especially the Cessna are to be found at almost every airport around the world any letter or letters would be great. Unfortunately the code D-1220 won't be an option for those planes since the codes with a number are reserved for glider planes. A Cessna 172 should get a code like D-Exxx (here's the English version of that wikipedia site).

BTW: I found this little declaration for the reason why Switzerland got the code HB-Cxx for the Cessna. The HB is a reminder for the pilots for "hesch Bänzin?" or in German "hast Du Benzin?" or in English "Do you have enough fuel?". This because a Swissair plane had to do an emergency landing in the English Canal on June 19th 1954 because it did run low on fuel.

Actually HB was assigned to Switzerland in the pre WII days and this was the radio allocation of prefixes issued globally by ITU. For more information visit this page

Switzerland uses HB-AAA to HB-ZZZ for powered aircraft and Gliders get HB-1 to HB-9999

the above link is the ITU assigned radio callsign prefixes and as most aircraft have a two way radio their registration is their radio callsign as well. The only aircraft that do not use their registration are scheduled airline flights which use the airline code name (usually part of the company name but not always) plus their flight number plus government and military flights.

N1220Z it will stay then. Besides, I have to do a whole sheet of decals just to change the number BTW, the propellers on these airplanes are laser cut for better accuracy. And if a different color is desired we can probably do this.

I just received 3 of Stonebridge's FedEx Delivery Trucks. These are absolutely the best of this type model I have ever seen. Even checking with a 10 power magnifying glass shows them to be superb. The decal work is excellent. I suspect once these are gone they will be gone as Stonebridge will be working on other models, and I'm not too sure how long they will last doing this type tedious work. Get them while you can -- These are GOOD !!

Please, pretty please, please with sugar on top would you please produce a GM Fishbowl New Look bus?? They were used all over the country and in Canada and Mexico from late 1950s to 1990s.
