Las Vegas Container Park

I took my wife to Las Vegas for vacation this year (she has never been there and I only once) and we had a few mornings and a day for exploring. Container Park is a few blocks from the Fremont Experience across from the El Cortez Casino. This is a cool idea that is being used to rejuvenate the downtown area. The shipping containers are housing restaurants, boutiques, and other types of shops. There is a neat kids play area with a container house, a stage for concerts and they also have outdoor movie nights. We missed the playing of 'The Rocky Horror Show' and having dinner at a restaurant that was voted 2014's best BBQ restaurant. There was a boxcar and a caboose all painted in black but converted into a Barber shop.

I took many photos, but I wanted to share since everything was re-purposed, and could give some modelers different ideas for their layouts.
