I've been working the net too--Found the Grand Canyon as one of the 8 wonders-- I know they have mule trains.. Maybe - saints PETER, PAUL, and MARY, sung by the lead mule engineer.
Obviously I don't clue

As Terry pointed out there have been many Eighth Wonders of the World.
This one was man made and lasted 23 years before Mother Nature in her wrath damaged it in The Storm of The Century.

David according to my research Henry Flagler purchased the Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Halifax Railroad, the origin of the Florida East Coast Railway. Flagler then purchased the St. John's Railway, the St. Augustine and Palatka Railway, and the St. Johns and Halifax River Railway to expand his railroad, the three Saints I was looking for. The Overseas Railway took seven years to construct and cost $20-40 million, survived 5 hurricanes during construction and cost many lives.

May 10, 1869 the last spike at Promontary Summit, Utah, on the Transcontinental Railway. Officially opened in November of that year. Builders were Union Pacific and Central Pacific.
Am I at least on the right continent??

this should be the Mount Washington Cog Railway . Interestingly I found the railway and the the date on the German Wikipedia site and found the date not mentioned on the English Wikipedia site...
